Type Spread

During one of my courses, I designed a type spread for a typeface.

The typeface is called ‘Thirsty Rough’.
Using the typeface, I created an original character and setting while showing off the entirety of the font.

I started with deciding with which typeface to use, and then came up with some ‘characters’ created from the typeface. Once I decided on a few characters, I started brainstorming on what kind of setting and layout the piece should have.

Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of documentation for my roughs as I did not save the roughs in a separate file and instead just edited over them for the final.

Final Outcome

Once I decided on the character, setting, and layout, I started creating in on a computer. After some cretiques, I finalized the type spread!
