For one of my courses, I designed a card deck.
The deck is called ‘The Deck of Mystical Things’.
I created the entirety of the deck, including the packaging, card back, and cards themselves.
Research, Thumbnails & Roughs
I started with deciding how to distinguish the card suits easily. After decided with green, blue, red, and yellow/ tan, I had to decided which mythical creature was going to represent each suit and color.
Once that had been decided, I brainstormed some ideas of the layout for the card box, card back, and royal cards.
Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of documentation for each of these stages. Therefore, I will be consolidating.
Final Outcome
After finalizing the main layout, I continued to edit and correct it. After some time, I completed the card deck!
